It is a strange crowd. The more I observe, the more I see the insecurities and their need for approval. You'd think that people of a higher rank would be somewhat different, but they are just as human as anyone else. Perhaps even more vulnerable and unsure; more prone to making mistakes. 

 

I said I was scared before, well, I'm not now. I thought I didn't have it in me. I thought I wouldn't fit in. I thought I had to change fundamentally to succeed in this environment. But then a young woman came and hugged me. It gave me hope. I don't need to be a bitch. I don't need to be intimidating to establish authority. We need to teach the coming generation to kill with kindness.
