"Oh! Elvis Has Left The Building!" - Steven Hiller, Independence Day

[Are You Gonna Be My Girl - JET]

Imagine who I saw today, saw and not adequate enough to be uttered as met. Touba, at least that is what I think how it is spelt. Fancy that, we sat in front of each other the whole time, from Liljeholmen to the University, and she did not notice me! She was completely devoured by the newspaper, which I no longer care to read now that, as the phrase says, "Elvis has left the building". Whatever became of her, I wondered as I surreptitiously watched her. When you are at the young age, with a childhood as dim as mine; people who suddenly moved away would seem to have just perished. So, as you'd understand, it felt rather surreal to me. Even though I recognize all of her, I still doubted if she ever existed, if it was her. I meant to say hello, but she never gazed up. I tried to pronounce her name, but it felt unnatural and unfamiliar upon my tongue. So I waited the whole ride, with my book in my hands, that she would at some point lift her face and see me. Either she didn't or she did, but couldn't recollect me. We got off the train together and she disappeared in the crowd.

I was two minutes late to an absolutely unnecessary lecture, but I am glad I went, since we evidently had a groupmeeting which I'd forgotten all about. Came home, wrote a report and saw latter a scary movie. A kind of creepy one, actually. It's called The House of the Devil and, well nothing much happened. It was lengthy, even. But the atmosphere was ever so chilling. It portrayed the 80's and the image was rather old-looking too, but it was in fact shot in 2009. I admit, I was frightened.

School begins at 9 O'clock tomorrow, with a presentation of the Salisbury Project. "Lay no eye" and wish me luck :)
